We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including device identifiers, IP address, operating system, app version, usage data (features accessed, time spent), and crash reports. We use this information to improve the Service and diagnose technical issues.

Health and Fitness Data

Zova collects health-related data including body weight, body measurements, food intake, protein consumption, exercise activity, and medication schedules. If you choose to import data from Apple Health, we access only the specific data types you explicitly authorize. We do not access Apple Health data without your permission.

3. AI-Powered Features and Data Processing

Zova uses artificial intelligence to analyze food photos and provide nutritional estimates. When you submit a food photo, the image is transmitted to our AI processing service to generate nutritional analysis. Food photos are processed for analysis purposes and are not used to train AI models without your explicit consent. AI-generated nutritional estimates are approximations and should not be relied upon as precise medical or dietary advice.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service, including cloud hosting (database and file storage), payment processing (Stripe), and AI analysis services. 9. Subscription Auto-Renewal Disclosure

Zova offers auto-renewing subscriptions. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
• No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Zova is operated in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
